This Egg Pizza with Scallions combines the richness of eggs with the freshness of scallions, all atop a crispy pizza base for a unique breakfast or brunch option.

Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet or pizza stone For baking the pizza
  • 1 Rolling pin Optional, for rolling out the pizza dough

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ball Pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Scallions Chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes Optional for added heat

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place the baking sheet or pizza stone inside.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Brush the top of the dough with olive oil and then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  • Carefully remove the hot baking sheet or pizza stone from the oven and transfer the pizza dough onto it.
  • Crack the eggs onto the pizza, spacing them out evenly. Sprinkle the chopped scallions over the top, along with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the crust is golden and crispy.
  • Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to add any additional toppings of your choice to customize your egg pizza.
